This notice explains how Eswatini Construction Skills Academy (ECSA) collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data for learners, partners, sponsors, and website visitors.

ECSA processes personal information in line with applicable law in the Kingdom of Eswatini, including requirements under the Eswatini Data Protection Act, 2022 and related regulations or lawful directions by competent authorities.

- Identity and contact details: name, email, phone, ID/passport, employer.
- Training and enrollment data: selected course, session choices, attendance, assessment records.
- Payment and access data: payment reference, access code, and account activity metadata.
- Technical data: IP address, browser details, device type, and cookie data.
3. Why We Use Your Data
- Deliver course enrollment, learning access, and certification services.
- Issue invoices, verify payments, and manage support requests.
- Provide compliance records, audit logs, and course quality reporting.
- Send required operational notices and optional marketing where consent applies.
4. Legal Basis
Processing is based on one or more lawful grounds: contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation, and consent (for optional communications and non-essential cookies).
5. Data Sharing
We share data only where needed to operate services, including payment processors, hosting providers, email systems, and approved administrators. We do not sell personal data.
6. Data Retention
Enrollment and compliance records are retained for a period reasonably required by training, certification, tax, and audit obligations. Data is then deleted or anonymized.
